One County, Four Different Pools

People assume a pool is a pool. Run a route across this county for a few years and you stop thinking that way. The same equipment fails differently depending on which side of the county it sits on.

Out on the water. Palm Beach, Juno Beach, Riviera Beach, the coastal edge of Jupiter. Salt air gets into everything: heat exchangers, light housings, handrails, the metal parts of a pump. You do not usually notice it as rust. You notice staining and discoloration turning up on things that used to look fine. Equipment out here has a shorter life than the same equipment four miles inland. Nothing you add to the water changes that.

Inland and west. Westgate, Greenacres, and out toward Royal Palm. The fill water is harder, so scale builds faster on tile, inside heat exchangers, and on salt cell plates. Got a white line at the waterline creeping back within a year of a cleaning? This is usually why.

Under the oaks. Older West Palm Beach, parts of Lake Worth Beach. Big mature canopy, which is lovely. It also means tannin staining, a heavy organic load, and filters packing tight through spring and fall. These pools burn through chlorine faster than anything else we service.

Screened and quiet. A lot of Palm Beach Gardens and North Palm Beach. Screens keep debris out, which helps. They also cut evaporation, and that changes how your heater behaves and how fast your chemistry moves. Different problems, not fewer.

None of this is a reason to worry about your pool. It is the reason we ask where you are before we quote anything. Ask how often something needs doing and the honest answer is different in Greenacres than it is in Palm Beach.

Repairs Anywhere in the County

Repairs are the calls that cannot wait, and they are the ones where being local actually counts for something. Pumps, filters, heaters and spa equipment, anywhere in Palm Beach County. We carry manufacturer parts for Hayward, Pentair, Jandy and Zodiac, and we work on Raypak and Sta-Rite as well. We are not driving in from two counties over to look at your pool.

Most of what we get called out for is one of four things. A pump that hums but will not spin, which is usually a capacitor. A filter with pressure that will not come down after a backwash. A heater faulting out, which is nearly always a flow problem rather than a broken heater. Or a spa that will not hold temperature.

Got an active leak, or a pool that has gone cloudy right before a weekend? Say so when you call. We will do what we can to move you up the day. Full detail on each of those is on our pool repair pages.

Why Palm Beach County Homeowners Choose Simple Pool Care

We are not a national chain, and we do not send subcontractors. Simple Pool Care is owner-operated out of West Palm Beach. We live in the same communities we service. That matters more here than it would somewhere else. South Florida heat, hard water, pollen and summer storms each do specific things to a pool. Our technicians are licensed and insured. They are factory trained on Hayward, Pentair, Jandy and Zodiac. We quote up front, we answer the phone, and we show up on the day we said. Twenty-one homeowners have left us a 5.0 rating on Google.

Local knowledge is the difference between a pool that fights algae all summer and one that just stays ready. Would you rather check the licensing yourself than take our word for it? Florida keeps those records public. You can search them by city or county.

Frequently Asked Questions

These are the questions we hear most often from Palm Beach County homeowners.

What areas of Palm Beach County do you serve?
We serve West Palm Beach and the surrounding communities, including Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, North Palm Beach, Riviera Beach, Lake Park, Juno Beach, Jupiter, Lake Worth Beach, Boynton Beach, Greenacres, and Westgate. Choose your town from the list above for local details and the neighborhoods we cover.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Simple Pool Care is a locally owned, licensed, and insured pool company based in West Palm Beach, and our technicians are factory-trained on Hayward, Pentair, Jandy, and Zodiac equipment.
Do you offer one-time service or just recurring plans?
Both. We offer recurring weekly and monthly maintenance plans, as well as one-time services like green-to-clean recovery, acid washing, equipment repairs, and installations. Whatever your pool needs, we can help.
How do I get started?
Call us at (561) 567-0822 or request a free quote online. You can also click your town above to learn more about pool service in your specific area.
Do you offer monthly pool service, or only weekly?
Both. Weekly is what most pools here need, because between the heat, the sun burning off chlorine and whatever is dropping into the water, a lot changes in seven days. Monthly can work on a screened pool with light use and balanced water. Under a big oak, or on a pool that gets swum in every day, monthly usually means you spend the last week of the month watching it slide. We will look at your pool and tell you which one it actually is rather than defaulting you to the bigger plan.
Do you handle emergency pool repairs across Palm Beach County?
We prioritize them, yes. An active leak, a dead pump, or a heater that has quit right before a cold front are the calls we move on first, anywhere in the county. Tell us what it is doing when you call rather than just booking a slot, because it changes where you land in the day.
Which parts of Palm Beach County are hardest on pool equipment?
The coast, and it is not close. Salt air on the barrier islands and near the water gets into heat exchangers, light housings and any exposed metal, so equipment there has a shorter life than the same unit a few miles inland. West of the county the problem flips: harder fill water, so more scale on tile, heaters and salt cells. Under the oak canopy in older West Palm Beach and Lake Worth Beach it is organic load, tannin staining, and filters packing tight twice a year. Screened pools in Palm Beach Gardens and North Palm Beach have the easiest time of it, though screens do change how a heater behaves. Where you are genuinely changes what breaks.
