Pool Services in Jupiter, FL
Schedule Service!
Salt Air on One Side, Well Water on the Other
Pool service in Jupiter is really two jobs. East of the turnpike you get salt air off the Atlantic and the Inlet. It goes after metal before anything else. Out in Jupiter Farms you are on well water, and that brings iron and manganese in every time you top off. Two different problem lists, same zip code in places.
We run both sides of it. Simple Pool Care is owner-operated out of West Palm Beach, licensed and insured. We have worked pools in this county for more than ten years. The Intracoastal near the lighthouse, Abacoa, behind the gate at Admirals Cove, acreage off Indiantown Road. Same local crew for all of it. Call (561) 567-0822 and we will tell you which Jupiter you are actually in.

Why Jupiter Homeowners Choose Simple Pool Care
No franchise, and no rotating crew. Simple Pool Care is owner-operated, licensed and insured. Our techs are factory trained on Hayward, Pentair, Jandy and Zodiac. The Google rating is 5.0 across 21 reviews. We service over a hundred pools a year.
In Jupiter it means we know which side of town you are on before we pull up. We quote the work your pool needs, not the work that is easiest to sell. What actually goes wrong here is further down the page.
Every visit ends with a digital report on your phone, so you know what was done and where the water stands. That matters more here than most places. Plenty of Jupiter pools sit unwatched while the owner is north for the season. We know the access rules at Admirals Cove, Jonathan’s Landing and The Bear’s Club.
What We Do in Jupiter
Weekly service is most of what we do here, and it is the thing that keeps the rest off your bill. Past that we handle green pool recovery, equipment repairs, new installations, filter, spa and tile cleaning, acid wash, salt systems, automation and sand changes. Weekly pool service has the full detail.
Two things worth calling out for Jupiter. Acid wash comes up more out in the Farms than anywhere else we work, because well water stains plaster. Salt system service comes up more on the coast, where the cells scale and there is already salt in the air.
What Jupiter Does to a Pool
Two answers, depending on where you are.
On the coast: salt air, and what happens inside the water
Salt air is the obvious one and it is real. Jupiter reaches further into the Atlantic than any other point on the Florida coast, so anything metal on a pad near the water has a shorter life than the same part inland. Heat exchangers, light housings, rails, pump hardware.
The one people miss happens in the water. As total dissolved solids climb, dissimilar metals in the system start reacting with each other. A copper heat exchanger, a stainless rail, a metal impeller, a light niche. Four different metals sharing one body of water. That is galvanic corrosion. You see it as discoloration on metal parts, and as copper staining that turns up on stainless.
Most advice gets this next part wrong. There is no universal maximum TDS. The working guideline is that TDS should not run more than about 1,500 ppm above where your pool started. And where it started includes the salt in a saltwater pool. So a salt pool reading 4,000 ppm may be completely fine. A freshwater pool that has crept from 400 to 2,200 without anyone testing might not be. We measure against your baseline, not a number off a chart.
One more thing. When we find staining on metal in a coastal pool, we check the bonding before we touch the chemistry. Improper bonding and grounding causes this as often as water balance does. No amount of sequestrant fixes an electrical problem.
Jupiter Farms: well water, iron and manganese
Out past the turnpike the metal comes in through the fill line instead of the air. Jupiter Farms is unincorporated county, so most of it runs on private wells rather than town water.
Iron is the common one. It tints the water reddish brown before it stains anything, then it stains plaster orange. Manganese is the one that gets misdiagnosed. It goes black or dark brown, so people assume algae, shock the pool, and nothing happens. EPA sets the nuisance thresholds at 0.3 mg/L for iron and 0.05 mg/L for manganese. That is how little it takes to show. On a private well and never had it tested? EPA’s own advice is to use a certified lab. Worth doing before you spend money on the pool.
Quick way to tell what you have: stains from leaves and acorns are tannins, and chlorine usually bleaches those out. Metal stains will not move for chlorine. So if you shocked it and nothing changed, it is metal.
The fix is a sequestering agent, normally HEDP or PBTC, and there are two things about it that nobody mentions. Sequester first, then balance the water, not the other way round. These products break down in normal chlorine levels. As they break down they drop the metal onto your filter. So it is a repeating dose rather than a one-time treatment, and your filter carries the load. That is why Farms pools need filter cleanings on a shorter cycle than coastal ones. We would rather put you on a schedule than sell you a jug and wave goodbye.
We cover most of Palm Beach County. The full list of towns is on our pool service areas page.
Frequently Asked Questions
The questions we get asked most often about pool service in Jupiter.
Pricing depends on your pool’s size and condition, but as a guide, our Chemical-Only plan starts around $100+/month and Full Service starts around $170+/month. Our pricing is transparent and includes chemicals, with no surprise add-on fees. For most Jupiter homeowners, professional weekly service ends up cheaper than going it alone once you add up chemical costs, your time, and the price of fixing a green pool or equipment damaged by salt air and unbalanced water. Yes, more than most people realize. Salt air off the Atlantic and the Jupiter Inlet corrodes metal pump and heater components, fasteners, and electrical connections faster than inland equipment. On every weekly visit we check for early corrosion and keep an eye on at-risk parts, so we can catch problems before a pump or heater fails. It is one of the biggest reasons coastal Jupiter pools benefit from consistent professional care.
All of them. We serve Abacoa, Admirals Cove, Jonathan’s Landing, Jupiter Farms, The Bear’s Club, Egret Landing, Mallory Creek, Paseos, Newhaven, and the neighborhoods around the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse, Harbourside Place, Indiantown Road, and Donald Ross Road, covering ZIP codes 33458, 33469, 33477, and 33478. We also serve nearby Palm Beach Gardens, Juno Beach, North Palm Beach, and Tequesta.
Yes. Well water out in Jupiter Farms often carries iron and minerals that leave brown or rust-colored stains on plaster and surfaces. We treat and prevent metal staining through proper water chemistry and sequestering agents, and for built-up or stubborn staining, an acid wash can restore the surface. We will assess your water and recommend the right approach.
Our heat, intense coastal UV, and summer storms burn through chlorine and feed algae fast, so a small dip in sanitizer or a weak pump can turn a pool green over a single weekend. Our green-to-clean service shocks, treats, brushes, and filters the water back to clear, usually in 24 to 72 hours and without draining. Staying on a weekly plan is the best way to keep it from happening again, especially if your pool sits unattended while you travel.
Yes. We repair all major brands, including Hayward, Pentair, Jandy, and Zodiac, and a dead pump means no filtration, so we prioritize those calls. We diagnose the real cause, give you up-front pricing, and get your system running again. Ask about our soonest available appointment when you call (561) 567-0822.
No. As long as we have access to the pool and equipment, we can service it without you being there, and you’ll get a digital report after every visit. That makes us a great fit for Jupiter’s many seasonal residents, snowbirds, boaters, and rental or vacation-property owners.
Then it is metal, not organic. Chlorine bleaches out tannin stains from leaves and acorns, so if you shocked the pool and the stain is still there, you are looking at iron, manganese or copper. Out in Jupiter Farms that usually came in through the well. On the coast it is more often copper off the heat exchanger, or a bonding problem rather than a chemistry one. We identify which before treating, because the treatments are different and the wrong one wastes a month.
